JASON EDWARD MARTIN aged 37 of no fixed abode. Admitted stealing a charity jar and coins from a staff tip jar to the value of approximately £40 at Costa Coffee, Seamoor Road, Westbourne. Also admitted committing further offences during the period of a suspended sentence order. Also sentenced for original offences in respect of which a suspended sentence order was made in April: contravening an order given by a community service officer to leave the Lower Gardens Bournemouth and not return for 24 hours; using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a PC in the Lower Gardens; failing to surrender to custody at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Also sentenced for original offences in respect of which a conditional discharge order was made in September 2013: stealing five bottles of Jack Daniels valued at £95, belonging to Asda, West Quay Road; going equipped for theft by carrying a foil-lined rucksack at Asda, West Quay Road, Poole. Also sentenced for original offences in respect of which a suspended sentence order was given in May: criminal damage to a front door belonging to Homer and Pardy property agency in Ripon Road; and two counts of failing to surrender to custody at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Also admitted stealing eight packs of steak, to the value of £64, belonging to Marks and Spencer, Christchurch. Committed to prison for a total of eight weeks.
