A FERNDOWN man accused of dangerous driving in Bournemouth this week appeared in court today.
Ricky Martin Janes, 24, appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court also charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath and assaulting a constable, in relation to the alleged incident in Edgehill Road, Winton, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The incident was said to have involved a police pursuit, with tasers deployed and two officers injured.
Janes, of Bond Avenue, West Moors, was remanded in custody to appear for a preliminary hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, June 20.
A 23-year-old Bournemouth man arrested at the scene has been released without charge.
