A MAN was seriously injured after falling from scaffolding in the early hours of the morning.

The 20-year-old was taken to Southampton Hospital with "serious and life-changing injuries", according to Dorset Police.

Officers set up a cordon following the incident, which occurred in Bath Road, Bournemouth, at around 4.49am this morning.

The cordon has now been lifted and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

He could have been making an early start for the 8am shift.
Perhaps he was doing overtime from the day before.
Lost his way home from the night club.
