A BOURNEMOUTH security van driver was robbed at knifepoint outside a New Forest supermarket this morning.
The robber approached the G4S driver, threatened him with a knife, and demanded that a cash box was handed over. Following the robbery the raider got into a nearby vehicle being driven by a second man.
The G4S driver, a man in his 40s from Bournemouth, was uninjured.
The incident took place near Tesco Express in Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge at approximately 11.10am.
A short time later Wiltshire Police assisted in arresting two men. A quantity of cash has been recovered.
