A WOMAN was taken to hospital after two cars collided on a road between Horton and Gussage St Michael last night.

Emergency crews were sent to the scene, close to the Horton Inn, at around 9pm, and Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said one person was trapped in their vehicle.

A police spokesman said that a woman was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car was uninjured.

A road closure was put in place while the scene of the crash, which involved a Ford Fiesta and an Audi A8, was dealt with.

The road was reopened at 11.05pm.

How can this be on the B3078 if it was on the road to Gussage St Michael?

Sloppy journalism again.

Hope she recovered fully.
