A CHARITY memorial evening commemorating the centenary of the First World War, organised by Arts University Bournemouth students, takes place next month.
Let Us Remember, taking place at the Italian Villa, Compton Acres, Poole, on March 6, will raise funds for forces charity Help for Heroes.
The event will include film, music and poetry honouring British soldiers who fought for their country past and present, as well as a host of donated photographs, letters, medals and military equipment.
To help raise funds there will be an ‘auction of promises’, a drinks reception and canapés, and jazz and swing music from a live band.
