This wet weather shows how pig ignorant many motorists are, a complete disregard for other people, creating walls of water by going through water logged roads at speed. Whilst walking my dog I often get soaked by drivers belting through pools of water more than the rainfall.

That lovely picture of the colourful beach huts should be sent to Judith Plumbley and the council at Christchurch Council!

I bet she's climbing the walls because she can't make them use all one colour!

Good! Stupid idiot!

I think this is all part of the new 'soshal meeja' inputs now being used instead of proper journalism.

There is no excuse for flooded roads away from rivers it is simply down to poor maintenance by the council, who have a legal responsibility under the: The Flood and Water Management Act to keep surface water drainage clear.
Unfortunately many councils, central government and water companies have cut their budgets year after year and then you add greedy house builders and councils by allowing building on flood plains and this is what you get. Bournemouth Council for example only started having a strategic planning group last year and only started it to comply with government. But what is even worse is that very little action has been taken since the start of the flooding in places where they know it floods and why it floods and still they do nothing!
