South Today weather lady Alex Green tweeted last night that the Met Office predicts storms will last all of February in the SW Region. Batten down the hatches!!

Twin Fails Bodge fails again, what a surprise. Convenient excuse trotted out - why did they not check if after the strike on the reliable old bridge?

"The Twin Sails Bridge is now open to traffic as engineers have resolved the earlier issues caused by high winds. Thanks for your patience"

Odd, earlier on we were told the Twin Fails Bodge has failed due to 'software corruption' caused by the lightning yesterday. Was a VERY convenient excuse then, why not just be honest to start with?

What is even more interesting is to compare Bournemouth beach with the scenes further west and realise that Bournemouth was the last place any sane person would suggest for spending - wasting - £3million of our cash on sand bags to create a surf reef.

What a pair of absolute idiots. THey were lucky they got washed up on shore and not out to see (I'm only referring to the dogs)

Anyone who puts themselves deliberately in harms way should pay to be rescued.

I agree! And the owners of those little dogs right on the shore should have their heads banged together. Irresponsible idiots.

Just what I was thinking. Not to worry, Bournemouth Council have the insurance payout to repair it with. Yeah, right!

Anybody walking along the edge of the sea in these conditions, with or without dogs, should go and see a specialist at St Anns hospital.
