Police helicopter in search for burglar, Bournemouth

THE police helicopter was mobilised tonight searching for a burglar in the West Road area of Bournemouth.

There was a reported break-in at West Road and the helicopter went up to try and locate the offender who had made off through gardens at 9.21pm.

The search was unsuccessful and was called off at 10.03pm.

'THE police helicopter' - please, do you have to write with such colloquialism? I think you'll find there's more than just one, therefore making the 'the' an 'a'. It also would suggest a better understanding of fact as well as a better command of the English language.

NPAS are due to be based at Bournemouth Airport from next month.
