First published in News by

POLICE have appealed for help in tracing this man after the theft of hundreds of pounds worth of hair products and honey from a health store in Wimborne.

Two men targeted Holland and Barrett in The Square with one distracting staff while the other stole the "high-value" items.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Two men entered the store and one proceeded to distract a member of staff. While this was happening, the other man stole hair products and a jar of honey."

The offence took place at 2.10pm on Monday November 25 and PC Ian Curtis has urged anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact them on 101 or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

He said: "I would urge the man pictured – and anyone who recognises him – to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible."

Information about the crime has only just been released by officers.

@ RATM The problem is that this happened nine weeks ago but has only just made the Echo so whilst it is indeed 'the best ever CCTV photos' he'll only be caught if he's local.

Having attempted to get to grips with what is actually included in their infamous "Penny (non)Sale" I'm not surprised the man pictured opted to bolt out the door.

I'd guess he's a european. That should narrow it down to just 978,754 suspects in the local area.

Put it on Crime Watch, then when caught Judge Wiggens can deal with him.
