Not exactly a busy road at that time of day ! If people didn't race through using it as cut through to avoid the main road wouldn't need the bollards and chicanes that are in place.

Why are full stops detracting from the real issues here - it is so pathetic.
OK, accidents will happen but this sounds like yet another example of really impressive driving - full stop.

You lot need to sort out this ridiculous and pointless commenting ! It was a crash of course they are going to close the road, people were trapped. If you have nothing positive to say 'shut your mouth'. It becomes very boring hearing the same negative comments day in day out. I expect majority of you posting these comments either have a vey insignificant jobs or in fact don't work at all. Think before you waste your time commenting !

It may just be the driver had a blackout and if so it is simply an accident. Unfortunately for her she will have her licence suspended as unfit to drive until she has been declared safe by a doctor. Some have used a blackout as an excuse for poor driving but it causes more problems than they realise.

Sorry your mum had a black out. Unfortunately she wont be able to drive again now - at least for some time.
Lucky it happened where it did or else someone in a car or walking could have been badly injured or killed.
