TWO people were knocked to the floor during a daylight assault in Christchurch.
A 51-year-old man from Hunstanton, Norfolk, was pushed by a man and collided with a 77-year-old woman from New Milton.
Both victims fell to the floor, causing the man a minor head injury and the woman a minor leg injury.
The incident happened at around noon on Monday outside the Halifax in Saxon Square.
PC Glenn Stokes of Christchurch police, said: “This apparently unprovoked assault caused great distress to both victims. The offender is believed to have made his escape in the direction of Saxon Square.”
The attacker is described as a white man, with short dark hair, aged 25-35, just over 6ft tall and of skinny build. He was wearing light coloured earphones.
