POLICE were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Longfleet Road in Poole.
A call was made to Dorset Police at 11.50am by Dorset Ambulance Service with reports of the incident, which involves a female driver in a blue Citroen C3, registered to a woman from Ashley Heath in Ringwood.
The pedestrian who was also involved in the collision, which happened close to the Shah of Persia pub, is believed to have minor injuries to their lower leg and is due to be taken to hospital by road ambulance.
More bus company have taken to their Twitter feed to say that their M1 and M2 services coming away from Poole are being redirected towards Sea View Road.
However, buses heading into Poole town centre remain unaffected.
