10 people were baptised by total immersion in a pool at their church.
The service happened at Pinehurst Community Church in West Moors.
Pinehurst Community Church’s pastor Clive Bartlett, who led the service, said, “We live in an age where people of all ages are beginning to ask searching questions about what life is really about. As a church we believe the gospel of Jesus Christ has the answer to those questions.
“This was a very special day for us as a church. When people get baptised it is a very clear testimony to the power of God at work in their lives.
“It was also very exciting to see many young people among those getting baptised. It was also great to see many guests who are not ordinarily in church sharing in this joyful occasion with us.”
The sermon was preached by the Dorset Counties Evangelist, Stephen Gillham.
