POLICE are continuing to investigate the circumstances which led to a pensioner being knocked down in Bournemouth.
A section of Wimborne Road in Winton was closed off at lunchtime on Thursday, November 7 when the man, aged in his 80s, was hurt as a bestpets lorry was reversed to make a delivery.
It was feared the man was seriously hurt at first but was later found to have suffered minor injuries.
The Health and Safety Executive and Bournemouth council have stated they are not looking into what happened, but a Dorset Police spokesman said they are still investigating.
