EMERGENCY services were called to the premises of a haulage company earlier today after a large crane toppled over.
The worker inside the 22-tonne vehicle escaped with minor injuries after the incident at AET Transport Services, Holton Heath Trading Park.
When the Daily Echo contacted the company they said they didn't want to comment as an investigation was underway.
Dorset Police Acting Sergeant Lee Savage said: “We were called following reports of a crane that had tipped onto its side in a yard whilst one member of staff was still inside.
“The member of staff suffered minor injury and police attended the scene to collect any evidence and are working with the Health and Safety Executive.”
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident, that unfolded around 1.45pm.
