A RADIO programme aimed at entrepreneurs is about to mark its first birthday.

Let’s Talk Business is a weekly national business programme, broadcasting to 3.5million people right across the UK.

It was set up by media mogul Alan Coote, whose digital industries and creative channel credentials include business development for global technology leader BAE Systems, working as a BBC producer and presenter and setting up the radio station The Bay 102.8, now known as Hot Radio.

Alan is also the MD of 5 Digital, a business-to-business radio and TV production company, based at Bournemouth Airport’s Basepoint Business Park.

He said: “I started Let’s Talk Business initially to give local businesses a platform to spread their wealth of knowledge. Within a few weeks we were syndicating the programme to eight, then 16 and now well over 30 radio stations from North West Scotland to Devon and Cornwall.

“The guests are from all over the country too, representing the very best of UK commerce today.

“During the past year, the show has covered all aspects of business, from contestants of BBC2’s Dragons Den, to self-made millionaires and most recently with ITV’s Dancing On Ice professional skaters, in association with Walking With The Wounded, of which Prince Harry is patron.”

There will be a triple celebration marked on LTB’s first birthday on September 30, as the launch of its new website will also be unveiled and it has announced its debut on the Sky TV platform next year, featuring the country’s top entrepreneurs, with expertise, advice and tips for anyone wanting to get ahead in business.
