THEY’RE not everyone’s cup of tea – but a pair of Poole superfans are preparing to follow Jedward all over the world.

Julie Atkin, 53, and Laura Morris, 30, met on a Jedward internet forum and now travel to see the pop duo together, having been to more than 150 performances since the Irish twins first shot to fame on X Factor in 2009.

The friends’ next trip will be to Bunn Leisure Holiday Park in West Sussex on September 28 but they are making plans to follow the duo to Australia later this year to take in the whole of Jedward’s tour down under – and have also booked tickets for 20 panto performances in Dublin this Christmas, where John and Edward will star in Beauty and the Beast.

Laura, from Canford Heath, can claim to be one of Jedward’s longest-serving fans – she met them at their very first X Factor audition after going to the auditions herself “for a laugh” and was behind the duo in the queue.

She said: “People say why do you want to see the same show 21 times? But each time it’s different – they are so unpredictable. The atmosphere is always good and it’s not like a normal concert. My family think I’m a bit of a nutter, a bit crazy.”

Julie, from Hamworthy, added: “Every concert is different. They are great fun and they are lovely lads, really lovely to their fans.”

Places they have seen concerts over the last few years include: Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Bradford, Cardiff, Cologne, Dublin, Dundee, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Hamburg, Hull, Killarney, Kilkenny, London, Manchester, Margate, Munich, Vienna.
