HARVEST Fine Foods, the Christchurch based wholesaler, is relocating to larger premises after receiving a £200,000 assent finance deal from Santander Corporate & Commercial.
The company have purchased a 3000sq ft walk-in freezer, a 1000 sq ft fridge, two specialised narrow- aisle forklift trucks and racking with the money.
Katie Loder, Relationship Director for Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “We’re delighted to be helping a local business with a strong, expanding customer base and an excellent management team”.
The family owned and run business has expanded its product range to include fresh fruit and vegetables as well as frozen and chilled foods. The company now supply to golf clubs, schools, nursing homes and hospitals as well as restaurants and hotels.
Richard Strongman, Managing Director for Harvest Fine Foods, said: “We are extremely proud to be expanding our business at this key point in its history.
‘I’m already planning my next phase of investment to take on more business.”
