EMERGENCY services are currently on the scene of an accident on the A31 through the New Forest.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance were called just after 11.20am to involving a 4x4 Kia towing a caravan.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway at just before the Little Chef at Stoney Cross resulting in the vehicles coming to rest in a ditch by the side of the road.
Two people have suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident, the cause of which is not clear.
Paramedics are treating the injured while police have closed the inside lane of the dual carriageway and filtering traffic through the outside lane.
As a result tailbacks are building up and Hampshire police are urging people to avoid the area until the incident is cleared.
