A WOMAN arrested in connection with the death of a Poole property developer has been released without charge.

The 41-year-old had been questioned on suspicion of drug offences after Paul Banyard’s body was discovered at his Images apartment block in New Street on March 29 this year.

Mr Banyard praised by friends as “very bright” and “gifted”, was a company director who owned a number of different properties.

He first became a company director at the age of 26, holding six directorships with firms including Images Management Ltd, Countryfile Homes Ltd, Westray Management Ltd and Westray Hall Ltd.

Most recently he held the position of property developer with Oceanic Distribution Ltd.

An inquest into his death will be held at a later date.
