POLICE were called after a bonnet fell off a car near the Ashley Heath roundabout this morning.
Officers were called at 8.05am after the obstruction was reported on the road, 500yards short of the St Ives interchange.
The driver of the car, who made the 999 call, was parked in a layby nearby.
A rolling roadblock was put on while the item was quickly removed and the road was opened shortly after.
