THE keys to the four millionth Ford Fiesta sold in the UK – a Fiesta Zetec in Candy Blue with the award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine – were presented to a proud customer at a Ford main dealer this week.
Fiesta has led the small car segment in the UK for 27 of its 37 years and has been Britain’s overall best seller since 2009 when it overtook the Ford Focus
THE Suzuki Swift has been updated for 2013.
Launched in the UK in late 2010, the Swift range now receives some cosmetic upgrades and specification changes, as well as the introduction of two extra models as part of the model update. They are the 4x4 Five door 1.2-litre and the Five door 1.6-litre Sport - both offered with manual transmission only.
SKODA has announced pricing and specifications for the upcoming new version of the Octavia VRs.
Billed as ‘the fatest Octavia ever’, the sporty version of the five-door hatch will range from £22,990 to £25,450.
Power will come from engines that include a 220ps petrol and a 184ps diesel.
The petrol hatch will zip to 62mph in 6.8 seconds and carry on to 154mph. It made its debut at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
