FIREFIGHTERS were called back to Studland Heath yesterday after smoke was reported at the scene of the original wildfire that destroyed a hectare of vegetation yesterday.
Crews from Swanage extinguished a small fire in the area and then requested a water carrier to help them dampen down the site.
The smaller fire was reported around 3.15pm. Firefighters from Swanage have now left the scene.
