THE thorny subject of litter rears its ugly head again today after visitors to Bournemouth at the weekend left the beaches and streets awash with rubbish.
Amazing how some people can find a handy scapegoat or an excuse. ‘The council didn’t clear up quickly enough’ or ‘the bins were full’ - as if that precludes anyone bundling up their own trash and taking it home.
But that would be too much like hard work for these lazy and thoughtless individuals. They probably chucked the rest of their rubbish out of the car windows as they queued to go home.
