A CLOUD of smoke billowed from Condor Ferries’ fast catamaran Vitesse in Poole Harbour.
Daily Echo reader Mike Millard took this dramatic shot of the catamaran on Sunday morning |as it manoeuvred in Poole Harbour.
Condor Ferries said the smoke was caused by air in the fuel system.
Condor Ferries fleet director Graham Belgium told the Daily Echo: “The brief puff of smoke was caused by the air in the fuel system which can happen from time to time, and which was rectified immediately by the team onboard.
“All sailings to the Channel Islands and France ran at full power and operated to schedule over the weekend.”
