A LORRY driver suffered serious injuries in a North Dorset crash this afternoon.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision on the A350 Shaftesbury, with road closures between A30 Christy’s Lane and A357 unti late afternoon.
A white and green truck registered to a company, a 26-tonne articulated lorry and a car collided after the lorry jack-knifed and overturned, it is believed.
One man was taken to hospital after being trapped in the cab of the lorry with leg and chest injuries.
It is not believed his injuries are life-threatening.
The lorry, which was fully loaded and towing a trailer when it crashed, was stuck in a hedge and will need to be recovered.
Traffic queued in both directions between Royal Chase in Shaftesbury and the A357 junction in Durweston.
