A BOURNEMOUTH mum devastated by the loss of her late mother’s wedding band has launched a last-ditch appeal for its return.
Julie Charman has worn the plain 18ct gold wedding band ever since her mother Margaret Ward died two years ago.
But it went missing during a two-hour period on Thursday, June 20 and all of Julie’s frantic attempts to find it have been unsuccessful.
Julie, who lives in Moordown and works at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, said: “I went swimming early at Pelhams Park and then went home and did the school run to Epiphany School.
“At 8.45am I looked down and it wasn’t there but there was a mark on my hand as if it had been there recently. My heart just sank, I just felt so awful. I’m now just hoping for a miracle really, I am desperate to get it back.”
Anyone with information should contact Julie via the Echo newsroom on 01202 411291.
