A CHIP pan caught fire in Christchurch and caused damage to the kitchen, firefighters said.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire was out on arrival at the detached property in Fairmile Road after they were called this morning but they will be returning to offer residents fire safety checks.
