AN alleged fugitive appeared in court this morning charged with causing the death of Clive Wilcox.
Daniel Scott, 33, formerly of Bournemouth, entered no plea to the charge of manslaughter relating to the 42-year-old father-of-two's death in Wimborne Road on Friday, May 4, 2001.
He was also charged with possessing a fake passport at St Pancras International Station on June 13 this year.
Prosecutor Nicola Reece told Bournemouth Magistrates Court that Scott had been missing for 12 years as he had left the country following the incident.
She said he had used the fake passport on his return.
Scott, who waved to several family or friends in the public gallery on his way out, was remanded in custody to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on June 24 at 10am.
