MOTORISTS are being warned to avoid Boundary Road this evening after a traffic light failure.
The lights at the junction with Victoria Park Road are stuck on red for traffic travelling towards Bournemouth.
Queues are already building up in the area as cars try to get through.
A spokesperson from Bournemouth Borough Council said: "The fault has been reported to us.
"An engineer is on the way there now but drivers are urged to find another route."
The fault is expected to be fixed by 6.30pm.
