AN EAST Dorset road has reopened after a horror car crash this evening.
Emergency crews have just left are the scene of a two-car smash in Gussage St Michael, near Wimborne.
Parsonage Hill is now open again after the crash.
It was closed for around four hours.
One patient, believed to be male, was trapped in his car and has been flown to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance with abdominal injuries.
A second patient is described as "walking wounded".
Two fire crews from Blandford were also at the scene.
A spokesperson from Dorset Fire and Rescue said: "We received a call at 17.06pm, and two crews attended."
A paramedic in a Rapid Response vehicle and a land ambulance also attended the scene of the crash.
