MACHINERY was destroyed after a suspected arson attack at a scrapyard in St Leonard's on Tuesday night.
Firefighters from Ringwood and Redhill were called to the blaze off Ringwood Road around 8.30pm following reports.
Crews used hose reel jets and foam as well as breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire in the heavy land machinery.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the cause was believed to be deliberate.
One piece of heavy land machinery and another vehicle was destroyed by fire.
Police were also called to the scene.
