THE re-trial of Cherries player Steve Cook and three former teammates, accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman, is due to start today.
Earlier this year an Old Bailey jury failed to reach verdicts on whether Cook and Brighton and Hove Albion players Lewis Dunk, Anton Rodgers and George Baker had molested the woman in a Brighton hotel room in July 2011.
Cook, Rodgers and Barker also deny a charge of voyeurism. Dunk was cleared of voyerism at the first trial.
Central defender Cook joined AFC Bournemouth on loan from Brighton in October 2011. He joined permanently in the January 2012 transfer window.
