EVERY few years there’s a big campaign for more organ donors.
And we have supported those initiatives when they have arisen.
But, of course, the need for more organ donors doesn’t go away when it’s not in the public eye.
Diabetic Ray Taylor, 66, had been waiting two-and-a-half years for a kidney transplant.
The Wallisdown pensioner has now had the life-changing operation and said the transplant was going well.
This is encouraging news. Let’s hope it inspires more people to sign up to become donors.
