A woman was robbed at knifepoint in Westcliff. 

The 32-year-old was walking along Somerville Road on Sunday between 11 and 11.30pm when two men threatened her with a knife and stole money from her coat pocket.

She escaped without injury.

Detective Constable Jo Regan, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “This attack has been a very traumatic experience for the victim.

“I urge anyone who may recall seeing this incident take place or may have information about those involved to contact Dorset Police in confidence.

“The first offender is described as white, aged in his twenties with scruffy hair, wearing a black coat and jeans.

“The second man is described as a white man aged around 40, wearing a black beanie hat, camouflage jacket and black trousers.

“I would urge anyone who may be able to assist with our enquiries to get in touch.”

No arrests have been made.
