THE funeral of Ally Mullany showed what people thought of her.
More than 600 turned out yesterday to remember the head teacher of St Joseph’s Catholic Combined School in Parkstone.
The fact that she was taken from the world so young is a tragedy. But those closest to her may have drawn some comfort from the astonishing outpouring of feeling from those whose lives she had touched.
A great head teacher, like a great parent, is never forgotten, because they live on forever in the lives of those they have inspired.
