FIREFIGHTERS were called to Turbary Common in the early hours of Saturday after arsonists started a heathland blaze.
An engine from Westbourne fire station and a Land Rover from Ferndown were dispatched at 12:43am.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet and beaters. An area roughly 33metres by 33metres was destroyed.
Crews left the scene at 2.10am
