THE LINE up for the Bournemouth 7s Festival 2013 taking place next month has been announced.

More than 30 bands and DJs are set to perform over the weekend of May 24 – 26, 2013, for the sixth edition of the world’s largest sport and music festival, being held at Bournemouth Sports Club in Christchurch.

A predicted 20,000 festival-revellers can look forward to the Cuban Brothers, who are set to headline on the Sunday, and a host of local and international acts, which can be seen across 10 festival arenas.

These include resident DJ, John Holman, in the Carlsberg Beer Tent, Bournemouth-local, Zuby, in the new-for-2013, Urban Tent, and international rugby stars, including former England Captain, Lewis Moody, in the V.VIP Celebrity Lounge.

Roger Woodall, Festival Director, said: “Now entering into its sixth year, we are really proud to host the world’s largest sport and music festival in Bournemouth.

“We see an amazing combination of teams, who come across the country, and supporters, festival-goers, and families from across the Bournemouth and Dorset area.

He added that this year, they have taken the festival to the next level.

Roger said that new for 2013 they have a dodgeball tournament, new arenas including the Live Lounge and Urban Tent, and the Viper 10 Stage and Vegas Karaoke Tent set to see continued success.

For those looking towards the sports action, there will be over 300 rugby, netball, and dodgeball teams competing in a range of competitive and social competitions.

Tickets cost £40 per adult for the weekend, or £35 for a day pass, £30 for students and £5 for children under 12, for both days.
