COMEDY legend Ken Dodd helped the children’s charity Variety raise more than £400 at his recent Bournemouth show.
Ken, who is a big supporter of the charity, read out an appeal on behalf of the local group and asked the audience to put cash in collection buckets.
The money will be used to help buy a desperately needed piece of life-saving equipment for a local child.
