The Boscombe Community Gospel Choir will be launched at the Salvation Army in Palmerston Road on Sunday, April 21, at 4 pm.
Local school teacher Helen Main will conduct the choir and all ages are invited to come along for the first rehearsal where they can enjoy great music and forge new friendships.
Salvation Army stalwart Phil Carey, who lives in Southbourne, told the Daily Echo: “You don’t have to be a member of the Salvation Army to enjoy our ladies’ activities, wonderful men’s fellowship and enjoy singing in our new choir.”
There are no auditions and the choir is open to anyone aged over 14. For more information phone 01202 309803.
