POLICE are hunting a lone robber who targeted a Blandford convenience store last night.
The raider struck at 10.20 pm at the One Stop store on Salisbury Road. After demanding money from staff he was handed a quantity of cash. He fled from the shop and a search of the area, involving police officers and dogs, failed to find him.
He is white, around 6 ft tall with a slim build and ginger coloured eyebrows. The man was wearing a dark coloured suede type coat with a matching hood, dark coloured trousers and a black scarf over his face.
Witnesses and anyone with information should phone 101, quoting incident number 03:443, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
