BROCKENHURST College will host one of the UK's largest live culinary competitions for the second year running.
Wessex Salon Culinaire will take place on April 3 and 4 and will be held in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs.
This year the competition has attracted more than 700 entries and is split into four categories - Live Hot, Live Cold, Restaurant and Cold Display - with scores of classes in each category for entrants to select.
In addition to these classes that are open for everyone to enter the college will also host the Coastline New Forest Chef of the Year.
John MacArthur, Head of Hospitality Studies, said, “Wessex Salon Culinaire is a fantastic opportunity for our own Brock students to compete and demonstrate their skills in one of the largest, live culinary competitions in the UK and I'm sure they're going to do really well”.
