SOME of East Dorset's hidden secrets will be revealed in a colourful new guide.
Anyone interested in finding out about places of interest and events in key market towns will discover all the information they need in the book, available from Wimborne Tourist Information Centre.
Rural Dorset Days Out 2013 celebrates the wonderful selection of attractions on offer on our doorstep with suggested itineraries for family days out, ideas for those wet weather days and information on our local history and heritage.
The guide covers the area from Wimborne to Shaftesbury.
In it you can find the dates for this year’s popular and quirky events: the Folk Festival, the Filly Loo, the Sting in the Tale storytelling festival or the Wimborne Food Festival, or learn about our local farmer’s markets.
A spokesperson from East Dorset District Council said: "The free publication is a great resource for the school holidays and for ensuring that any visiting family and friends make the most of their stay."
