A 20-YEAR-old woman was pushed onto a wall and robbed by three men in Bournemouth.

The victim was walking along Kemp Road in Winton at night when she was approached by the men and pushed before they snatched her handbag.

The three robbers then ran off in the direction of Wimborne Road.

The ‘Fossil’ branded handbag was found discarded a short distance away with £20 missing.

Detective Constable Emma Smith, of Bournemouth & Poole CID, said: “This incident has obviously caused a lot of distress for the young victim and I am appealing for witnesses to assist with our investigation.

“Fortunately she escaped without being injured.

DC Smith said the three men are believed to be aged in their twenties.

“I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this attack take place, or may have information about those responsible, to contact police immediately and in confidence,” she added.

No arrests have been made over the robbery, which happened at around 1.40am on Friday, March 15.
