MARKETING Assistant Holly Ransom said: “I have only worked here for three months but I am very happy here. It is very welcoming and the students are very nice and polite. They always hold doors open for you.”

PARENT Alison Collier said: “My two children have been been to Arnewood and I also work here as a Learning Support Assistant. I am really impressed with the school. Pupils are encouraged to do their best.”

HEAD teacher’s PA Val Woods said: “The staff are very friendly and it is obvious that they are keen to do their very best for the children. I used to work for the NHS so I am fortunate that I have found another career.”

PUPIL Tegan Gears, 15, is one Year 10. She said: “It is really good here and there are a lot of extra-curricular opportunities. I am an interpreter and a digital leader and I am also involved in sports leadership with local schools.”

NIGEL Pressnell has one daughter who has left the school and another still there. “The thing that appeals to me as a parent is that firstly it is a very caring school and secondly it a great offers academic challenge.”

HEAD boy Isaac Hobby, 18, moved to the school for sixth form from Priestlands in Lymington. He said: “I am doing law, geography and maths and hope to go to university and to become a solicitor
