FIREFIGHTERS released a horse which had been stuck in a metal gate at Willett Road, Ashington, near Corfe Mullen on Wednesday evening.
A vet attended the scene at 6.20pm to sedate the horse before firefighters using pedal cutters freed the animal which was then walked back to a stable none the worse for its ordeal.
