THE lives of Harry Churchill and his brother Cody were cruelly short.

Yet family friend Adam Murry is right when he describes the boys, who died within days of each other, as an inspiration.

Echo readers have known about Harry since 2010, when we told of his battle with epidermolysis bullosa, or EB – a condition which caused his skin to blister drastically.

Harry’s case helped at least some people to learn about EB. What’s more, family, friends and strangers alike rallied round, helping raise funds so he could enjoy as normal a life as possible – and then doing the same when little brother Cody came along.

Harry and Cody impressed everyone who met them – Echo reporters and photographers included – with a cheerfulness that really was inspirational.

And it’s clear they knew more love and care in their short lives than some receive in their entire childhood.
