PARENT governor Michelle Buckingham has two children at the school and one who has left. She said: “They all started here in nursery. The teachers are all very easy to talk to. My children have always been happy here.”

MOLLY Arnold, 10, is in Year 6 and is a prefect. She said: “It is an amazing place where you meet lots of friends. There is no bullying in this school and all classmates get on together. It is very friendly and our teachers are really nice.”

YEAR 6 pupil Marcus Willcox, 11, said: “I have been here from nursery and I love it. It has been a really good experience and I get on with my learning very well here. My favourite subject is maths.”

ASSISTANT head Laura Bennett has been at the school for four years. She said: “We have come a long way. We are very child-centred and the ethos of Rights Respecting is throughout the school. We work very hard as a team.”

PUPIL and family support leader Pippa Emmerson said: “I work with the staff to co-ordinate support that goes beyond the realms of learning. I put support packages in place to maximise the pupils’ learning and also work with the parents.”

LEARNING support assistant Rhianne Mason, 19, a former pupil who has worked there since September, said: “I love working here and get all the support and guidance I need. I loved it here when I was a child.”

LESLEY Mason, learning support assistant, said: “This is a good school with good teachers and support staff. Everything is geared towards the benefit of the child and I do all I can to help their learning.”
