Jaguar will be star car at BIC showcase

Tomorrow and Saturday, Westover Group is celebrating its 90th anniversary with its first ever Motor Showcase event. The free event will see 90 models on display from the 14 brands represented by the group, while a glittering gala dinner with fundraising auction will be hosted at Bournemouth Pavilion.

The big highlight will be the stunning Jaguar F-Type, pictured, making one of its first public appearances in the UK.

Also on show will be the new all-electric Renault Zoe and the Kia Pro_cee'd.

New models only recently released to the UK market and attending the showcase include the Nissan Juke Nismo, the new Range Rover, Fiat 500L and Skoda Rapid.

Making a special appearance, the £100,000 Lexus LS600 F Sport will also be joining the Westover line-up.

The event will kick-off with a dedicated corporate motoring morning from 7.30am tomorrow, with Westover Group’s dedicated First4Business team on hand to offer expert advice on the benefits of business motoring.

The corporate nature of the morning will soon give way to the open event, tickets of which can be reserved in advance.

By registering ahead of tomorrow and attending on the day, visitors will be entered into a prize draw in association with Auto Trader to win a Peugeot 208 worth more than £11,000.

Paul Collins, Westover Group director, said: “This will be the first time that we’ve brought so many of our vehicles together in the same place and at the same time. The area’s first indoor motor show promises to be a wonderful opportunity for local people to see a host of different cars.”

The highlight of the weekend promises to be Friday’s celebratory gala dinner.

The 500-seat event will feature appearances from some the automotive industry’s best after-dinner speakers and culminate with a charity auction on behalf of Julia’s House, Montacute School, About Face, Lewis-Manning Hospice, and Sparkle.
